? The Cardinal (31-2, 18-0) improves to 5-1 in NCAA Tournament first round games at Maples Pavilion. Stanford is now 35-13 all-time in NCAA Tournament play and posts an all-time postseason record of 35-16.
? Stanford recorded a season-high tying 10 blocked shots for a total of 185 on the season. That total breaks the school and Pac-10 single-season record of 176 blocked shots, set last season. The Cardinal posted 10 denials two other times this season: Nov. 23, 2001, vs. Minnesota and Feb. 24, 2002, at UCLA.
? The Cardinal has won 23 of its last 24 games, dating back to Dec. 19, 2001.
? Stanford posts an all-time home record of 311-76, including a 14-1 record this year.
? Sophomore guard Nicole Powell notched her fifth career triple-double, and fourth this season, with 20 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists. Powell has posted five of the seven triple-doubles in Stanford history and owns five of the 11 in Pac-10 history. She is the only Pac-10 player to record more than one triple-double.
? Powell has recorded 10 or more rebounds 26 times in her 63-game career, and 15 times this season.
? The Cardinal held Weber State to 28.1 percent shooting from the field (18-of-64), the third-lowest field goal percentage by a Stanford opponent this season.
? Senior Cori Enghusen posted a career-high 12 rebounds.

? The 2002 Big Sky Tournament champions, the Wildcats (22-9, 11-3) made their first ever NCAA Tournament appearance. Weber State is the lone team at the NCAA West Subregional in Palo Alto, Calif., to have won its conference tournament.
? Junior guard Karsen Muller scored Weber State's first points in an NCAA Tournament game, sinking two free throws at the 18:46 mark. Freshman guard Julie Gjertsen scored the team's first field goal in NCAA Tournament history, a 3-pointer at the 18:10 mark.
? Freshman guard Julie Gjertsen notched a season-high tying eight rebounds.
