CORVALLIS, Ore. (AP) - Chelsea Trotter scored seven of her career-high 17 points late in the game as fifth-ranked Stanford drew away and beat Oregon State 62-51 Thursday night for its 24th straight Pac-10 victory.

Sebnem Kimyacioglu, Susan King, and Nicole Powell added 10 points apiece for Stanford (11-1, 3-0) in its sixth straight victory. The Beavers (7-7, 1-4) received 22 points from Hollye Chapman on 10-of-13 shooting.

Oregon State got within 48-46 when Chapman scored with 8:38 remaining. But Trotter scored seven straight points to lead Stanford's 16-5 game-closing run.

Powell, the 2002 Pac-10 player of the year, was in a reserve role. She returned to the Cardinal on Jan. 3 after missing the first nine games with a back injury.

The Beavers tied the game at 23 when Leilani Estavan hit a 3-pointer with five minutes left in the first half. But the Cardinal went on a 7-0 run and held a 34-27 lead at halftime.

Stanford shot 50 percent in the first half, and was 11-of-12 from the free-throw line. Oregon State didn't attempt a foul shot until midway through the second half.
