Adam Peterson Claims Top Spot In One-Meter Diving Event At Bruin Invite

Los Angeles, Calif. - Stanford sophomore diver Adam Peterson took first place in the men's one-meter event with his score of 587.95 on the first day of competition at the Bruin Invitational in Los Angeles, Calif. Teammate Gavin Olmstead finished third (536.10) as the Cardinal took two of the top three spots. USC's Ray Vincent finished second (566.15).

Stanford's Jeff Durbin placed fifth (463.05) to round out the trio of Cardinal divers.

Competition wraps up tomorrow with the men's three-meter event beginnning at 12:30 p.m. The combined (men/women) platform event will start at 3 p.m.
