Men's Gymnastics Enter Second Day at the 2003 Winter Cup

Las Vegas, Nevada - Stanford men's gymnastics competed at the USA Gymnastics Winter Cup. The annual event is the opening competition for the men's National Team.

The 2002 NCAA Champion on the rings, senior co-captain Marshall Erwin (Cincinnati, OH/Wyoming), scored a 9.100 in the event during Saturday's Individual Event Finals.

On Friday night, Erwin tallied a 9.450 on the rings to advance to Saturday's competition.

Stanford returns to dual competition on Fri., Feb. 14 when the Cardinal travels to Berkeley to face cross-bay rival California at 7:30 p.m.
