CSTV will air two baseball games, one softball game, one track meet and one water polo match.

NEW YORK, N.Y. - Five Stanford regular season sporting events will be broadcast nationally on CSTV: College Sports Television (www.cstv.com), the first television network devoted exclusively to college sports, which launched Monday.
"This is yet another example of our commitment to deliver the "best of the best" of college sports for our viewers," said Chris Bevilacqua, co-founder and executive vice president, CSTV. "Stanford perennially possesses one of the strongest athletic programs in the country, boasting a terrific roster of student-athletes who excel on and off the field and whose stories will make for compelling programming."
CSTV will televise a pair of Stanford-California "rivalry games" --- the women's water polo "Big Splash" on Saturday, April 12 in Berkeley and the track and field "Big Meet" on Saturday, May 3 at the Cobb Track Stadium (will air tape-delayed on May 13). CSTV will also broadcast live the Arizona at Stanford baseball game on Friday, April 25, the Arizona at Stanford softball game on Sunday, May 4 and the UCLA at Stanford baseball game on Saturday, May 17.
In addition, CSTV will broadcast a pair of conference championships that could include Stanford teams. The Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Women's Water Polo Championship, which will be held at Stanford's Avery Aquatic Center, from Friday, April 25-Sunday, April 27 (will air on a tape-delayed basis), and the MPSF Men's Volleyball Championship on Saturday, April 26.
College Sports Television's on-air roster includes veteran Pac-10 football and basketball announcer Barry Tompkins and former Stanford water polo All-American Chris Dorst.
With long-term programming and marketing agreements with 27 Division I athletic conferences - including the Big East, Big Ten, Big XII, Mountain West, WAC, Big West, West Coast, Big Sky, Ivy League, Sun Belt and Atlantic 10 - CSTV will televise live regular season and championship events across a broad spectrum of men's and women's college sports, including football, basketball, baseball, soccer, ice hockey and lacrosse. College Sports Television was co-founded by President and CEO Brian Bedol, Chairman Stephen Greenberg and Executive Vice President Chris Bevilacqua. Bedol and Greenberg co-founded Classic Sports Network, which they sold to ESPN and is now ESPN Classic.
