Four more Stanford football players have signed free agent contracts and will make their way to NFL training camps this summer, including RB Kerry Carter (Seattle Seahawks), NT Trey Freeman (Baltimore Ravens), DT Matt Leonard (Jacksonville Jaguars) and OG Greg Schindler (San Francisco 49ers).

The number of Cardinal football players heading to NFL camps now totals eight. Four players were selected in the seven round draft held April 25-26, including OT Kwame Harris (1st round, 49ers), WR Teyo Johnson (2nd round, Raiders), S Colin Branch (4th round, Panthers) and FB Casey Moore (7th round, Panthers).

Freeman was the Cardinal's starting nose tackle in 2002 while Leonard started all 11 games at defensive tackle. Carter finished his Cardinal career as the school's No. 7 all-time rusher with 2,039 yards. He was also fourth all-time in rushing touchdowns with 23 and seventh in total touchdowns with 25. Schindler was a stallwart on the offensive line, starting 42 games the past four years.
