Stanford, Ca - Tony Azevedo scored four goals and Mike Derse added three to lead the fourth-ranked Stanford men's water polo team to a 13-3 victory over #15 UC Davis in a non-game on Sunday at the Avery Aquatic Center.
Greg Crum added two goals as the Cardinal upped their season record to 11-3. UC Davis fell to 10-10.
The Cardinal scored the game's first five goals, and held the Aggies scoreless until 5:08 of the third period on a goal by UCD's George Dingeldein. Stanford then added three more goals to take an 8-1 lead after three periods.
Five more goals in the fourth period gave the Cardinal a 13-3 win.
Stanford hosts UC San Diego on Friday (10/24) at 5:00 p.m.
