April 6, 2003

Pullman, Wash. - The finale of a three-game Pac-10 series between No. 4 Stanford (20-10, 6-2 Pac-10) and Washington State (9-21, 1-4 Pac-10) scheduled for Sunday, April 6, has been postponed due to snow. The teams have rescheduled the game for Monday, April 7 (11 am, PT). Stanford won the first two games of the series on Friday (6-1) and Saturday (12-5). Stanford also wrapped up its seventh straight series victory with the two wins over the Cougars and has won 18 of its last 22 games overall.

Stanford currently leads the Pac-10 standings by one game over California (5-3 Pac-10). The Golden Bears are scheduled to conclude their three-game series at UCLA with a rubber game on Sunday after the teams split their first two contests.
