NEW YORK - CSTV College Sports Television (www.cstv.com), the fastest-growing independent cable network, will premiere its CSTV Spikes men's college volleyball schedule Saturday, February 21, with a live telecast of #8 Stanford at #7 Brigham Young (9 p.m. ET/6 p.m. PT). The CSTV Spikes schedule features all four teams which competed in the 2003 NCAA Men's Volleyball Championship: defending national champion Lewis (currently #14), current #1 Pepperdine, Brigham Young and Penn State (currently ranked #11).
CSTV Spikes will also televise matches involving #3 UCLA, #4 Hawaii and #9 California-Irvine; all told, CSTV Spikes will feature teams that have won 11 of the last 12 NCAA championships. In addition, for the second consecutive year, College Sports TV will televise a live conference championship tripleheader on Saturday, May 1, featuring title matches from the three premiere men's volleyball conferences: the Eastern Intercollegiate Volleyball Association (EIVA), Midwest Intercollegiate Volleyball Association (MIVA) and the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation (MPSF). These three championships determine the NCAA Men's Volleyball Championship field.

College Sports Television was co-founded by President/CEO Brian Bedol, Chairman Stephen Greenberg and Executive Vice President Chris Bevilacqua. Bedol and Greenberg co-founded Classic Sports Network, which they sold to ESPN and which is now ESPN Classic. Bevilacqua is a former senior executive with Nike Inc., where he headed the company's successful foray into the college market.
