The Stanford Women's Crew competed against USC in perfect racingconditions at Redwood Shores. USC jumped out to an early lead in thevarsity event and the Cardinal could not recover. The Cardinal 2Vgave the Trojans a fight to the 1000 meter mark but the Trojans tookcommand in the second half of the race. The varsity women's four sawrace action for the first time this year and were defeated by an openwater margin. Rowers from the varsity four doubled into the WO8combined with four first year rowers to face the Trojans and came upshort.
The Stanford Women will conclude their dual racing season nextSaturday against California. Racing will be held at Redwood Shoresand begin at 10:00 am.
