ANCHORAGE, Alaska (AP) - Candice Wiggins scored 18 points and No. 7 Stanford defeated Eastern Washington 91-50 Tuesday night in the semifinals of the Great Alaska Shootout.

Stanford (3-0) will play Louisiana-Lafayette for the championship on Wednesday. The Ragin' Cajuns beat host Alaska-Anchorage 88-48.

Wiggins had five steals as Stanford used a stifling full-court press to dominate the shorter Eagles.

Eastern Washington (0-2) kept the game close in the opening minutes behind 11 points from Felice Moore. But with 10:49 remaining, Brooke Smith broke a 14-all tie with two free throws and started an 11-0 run as Stanford pulled away to a 44-22 halftime lead.

Eastern Washington's scoring drought continued in the second half. Stanford ran off 12 straight points and held the Eagles without a field goal until 12:18 remained.

Smith finished with 17 points and hit all nine of her free throws.

Moore's 11 first-half points led Eastern Washington.
