Stanford, Calif. - Brendan Domaracki's RBI triple in the bottom of the seventh inning scored Michael Taylor with the game-winning run to lift No. 10 Stanford (18-9) to a 7-6 comeback victory over Santa Clara (14-16) in a non-conference game between the South Bay rivals at Sunken Diamond on Tuesday. The win was Stanford's season-high-tying fourth in a row. Stanford trailed 6-0 after four innings as Will Thompson hit a grandslam for the Broncos in the third inning before Kevin Drever and Jason Matteucci brought home two more Bronco runs in the fourth with an RBI single and a run-scoring groundout.

Matt Manship (2-0) recorded the victory as the third of five Stanford pitchers by shutting the Broncos out in the sixth and seventh frames, allowing just one hit and striking out two. Nolan Gallagher protected the Cardinal lead with a perfect ninth to earn his third save of the campaign. Greg Reynolds also had a shutout inning of setup work by blanking the Broncos on one hit in the eighth.

Patrick Overholt (1-1) took the loss as the fourth and final Bronco hurler, giving up Taylor's game-winning run and a pair of hits despite striking out four of the nine batters he faced over the final 2.1 frames.

Two-time defending Pac-10 champion Stanford will host next No. 16 Oregon State (24-4, 3-0 Pac-10) in an early season conference showdown three-game series this Friday-Sunday, April 8-10 (6 pm, 1 pm, 1 pm, PT).
