Stanford, Calif. - Stanford and Santa Clara have announced the reversal of the location for two baseball games scheduled between the schools later this season. The teams will now meet on April 26 at Stanford and play May 10 at Santa Clara's new Stephen Schott Stadium, which officially opens on April 30. Both affected dates are Tuesday contests with first pitch scheduled each day for 6:00 pm, PT.
Stanford won the first of three scheduled games between the teams this season with a 7-6 comeback victory over the Broncos at Sunken Diamond on April 5.
No. 10 Stanford (18-9, 3-0 Pac-10) next hosts No. 16 Oregon State (24-4, 3-0 Pac-10) in a three-game early season showdown series between the only two Pac-10 teams without a blemish on their conference records this Friday-Sunday, April 8-10 (6 pm, 1 pm, 1 pm, PT) at Sunken Diamond.
