Lauren Fleshman runs to victory in 5,000 meters At Payton Jordan U.S. Open

Stanford, Ca - Former Stanford All-American Lauren Fleshman ran the fastest time by an American this year in the 5,000 meters to win the event at the Payton Jordan U.S. Open at Cobb Track & Angell Field.

Fleshman ran the distance in 15:15.63.

Several former and current Stanford also competed in the two-day competition.
