STANFORD
HEAD COACH WALT HARRIS
On the victory over Oregon State
"You've got to give a tremendous amount of credit to our players and how they hung in there during some very tough times. We had a lot of guys get beat up, guys trying to play [with injuries]. But, we've put so much into it before we got to this point, as well as all the frustrations those kids have gone through trying to get past win number four, I think it all came out in those moments on the last drive."
On getting over the "four-win hump"
"It's hard for me to say because I haven't gone through all the pain, agony and sadness that they players in our football program have gone through being stuck at this point [four wins]."
On the effort of Stanford's players
"This game is all about our players, not our coaches. [It's about] the effort that our players gave in doing what they had to do to play well in the game, finish the game, and find a way to win the game."
STANFORD
HEAD COACH TRENT EDWARDS
On the team's fifth win of the season
"This is huge. We've been in this position the last two years and for us to get over that hump is huge for this program. It's a credit to coach Harris; it's a credit to the seniors on this team. That's why we are where we're at. That's why we were able to win today because of those guys."
