Box Score

STANFORD, Calif. (AP) - Krista Rappahahn scored a career-high 18 points, making all four of her 3-point attempts, and No. 15 Stanford beat Fresno State 89-67 on Wednesday night.

Preseason All-America selection Candice Wiggins added 22 points to help Stanford (2-1) win its 23rd consecutive home game and the 57th in its last 60. The Cardinal will face No. 2 Tennessee a week from Sunday in their next home contest.

Brooke Smith added 16 points and Clare Bodensteiner had 13 for Stanford.

Amy Parrish scored 22 points to lead Fresno State (2-1). She has scored at least 20 games in all three games this season. Toni Atherley scored 15 points and Paige Diggs added 12 for the Bulldogs.

Stanford opened a 22-point advantage early in the second half and was never seriously threatened. Parrish, an all-WAC first team selection last season, and Bulldogs point guard Chantella Perera were in foul trouble most of the half.

Rappahahn made her first four shots, three from long range, and scored 13 points in the first half to help Stanford take a 45-28 lead.

Parrish did her best to keep Fresno State close, going 3-of-4 from beyond the 3-point line and scoring 15 points. She was 6-of-10 from the field in the first 20 minutes and the rest of the Bulldogs were 5-of-20.
