No. 14 Stanford Falls to No. 24 Boston College, 77-69

BOSTON (AP) - Aja Parham had all 15 of her points and all seven of her rebounds in the second half as No. 24 Boston College rallied to defeat No. 14 Stanford 77-69 Wednesday.

Brooke Queenan, who had 16 points in the first half, was 7-for-8 from the foul line in the final 7:54 to finish with 23 points. With BC leading by three points, Queenan made two free throws with 55 seconds left and Parham iced the game with two more foul shots with 34 seconds to go.

Parham was 0-for-3 with two assists and two turnovers in the first half, when the Eagles fell behind by as many as 16 points. But she scored five straight points in a 50-second span to give the BC (11-2) the lead for good with 5:20 remaining.

The Eagles got their fifth straight win despite 20 points by Candice Wiggins. But Wiggins was just 4-for-13 after the break with Parham playing tough defense.

The Cardinal led 47-33 with 18:46 left but scored just four points over the next 7 1/2 minutes. BC started a 16-4 run with a 6-0 spurt and scored eight straight to get to within 51-49 with 11:19 remaining.

Brooke Smith added 17 points for Stanford (6-4) before fouling out in the final minute.

Reserve Lisa Macchia added 10 points and seven rebounds for BC, which was 23-for-26 from the foul line.
