Corvallis, Or - An upset on Friday night at Gill Coliseum.

The 19th-ranked Oregon State women's gymnastics team upset sixth-ranked Stanford in a Pac-10 women's gymnastics meet, 195.150 to 194.125.

Despite the loss which dropped Stanford's season's record to 6-2, several Cardinal athletes performed with high marks. Sophomore Liz Tricase won the Bars competition with a score of 9.850. Sophomore Tabitha Yim, who is the nation's leader in the All-Around (39.600), competed in three events (Vault, Beam, Floor) at Oregon State, and collected wins on Floor (9.850) and Vault (9.900, ties season high). Stanford returns to action on February 3 at California. Stanford's next home meet is February 17 against nationally-ranked Arizona at Burnham Pavilion.
