Fayetteville, Ar - For the second straight week, Stanford's Chauntae Bayne has set a school record in the 200 meters. Last week at the Husker Invitational, Bayne broke Janice Davis' time of 23.70 with her own personal best of 23.50. On Saturday afternoon at the Arkansas Tyson Invitational, Bayne registered another school record with a time of 23.41.
Bayne's time also was an NCAA qualifying effort.
It was a second straight day that a Cardinal sprinter set a school record. On Friday night, Davis set the school record in the 60 meters with an effort of 7.30.
Bayne also competed in the 60 meters and won the event in a career-best time of 7.37. Bayne's time was also third-best in school history.
Stanford also scored two more victories in the 3000 meters as Arianna Lambie won the event in an NCAA qualifying time of 9:07.65 (#4 all-time at Stanford). Katy Trotter finished third also with an NCAA qualifying itme of 9:15.16 (#8 all-time at Stanford). Her twin sister, Amanda Trotter, placed fourth in a time of 9:27.58, an NCAA provisional qualifying time. Hari Mix won the men's 3000 meters in a time of 8:11.34.
The Stanford men's distance medley relay team ran the seventh-fastest time in school history with an NCAA provisional qualifying time of 9:34.32.

Wopamo Osaisai ran a career-best time of 21.60 in the 200 meters which also is third-best in school history ... Ashley Freeman reached the NCAA provisional qualifying standard in the 800 meters with a time of 2:07.51 in the 800 meters.
