Fayetteville, Ar - Only last week, Janice Davis tied her school record in the 60 meters at the Husker Invitational with a time of 7.31. On Friday night at the Arkansas Tyson Invitational, Davis broke her own school record with a time of 7.30 in the 60 meter finals.
In the prelims, Davis ran times of 7.32 and 7.39.
In other action involving Stanford athletes, Russell Brown became the sixth Cardinal distance runner to run under four minutes in the mile with a time of 3:59.65. That time is sixth-best in school history. In another mile race, Garrett Heath won the race in a time of 4:03.32.
