Stanford, Calif. - Alex Koran is the fifth member of the Class of 2010 to sign a National Letter of Intent to play water polo at Stanford, announced head coach John Tanner today.
A two-meter player from Tustin High School in Tustin, Calif., Koran was honored as First Team All-League and First Team All-CIF Div II. She was also named MVP of her squad.
"Alex is a talented and determined player in front of the goal," said Tanner, "She will be a wonderful addition to this incoming class."
Koran, along with Betsy O'Neill (Danville, Calif.), Kelly Eaton (Menlo Park, Calif.), Kelsey Holshouser (Santa Ana, Calif.) and Kelly Donahue (Annapolis, Md.), who all signed a Letter of Intent earlier this year, will arrive on The Farm next fall.
