Cardinal 4 x 800 Meter Relay Team Finishes Third At Penn Relays

Philadelphia, Pa - A third place finish in the 4 x 800 meter relay was Stanford's top effort on Saturday at the Penn Relays.

The team of Amanda Trotter, Alicia Follmar, Arianna Lambie and Ashley Freeman produced a time of 8:36.23. Texas won the competition in a time of 8:31.60.

On Sunday, the Payton Jordan Cardinal Invitational will be held at Cobb Track & Angell Field. Field events begin at 2:00 p.m. with the running events starting at 5:15 p.m.
