Quotes:
Miami head coach Mario Rincon
Opening Statement: "I thought we played a descent match today, but Virginia played better. We competed hard and our guys laid it on the line. Virginia was better today. We've come a long way this year and I'm very proud of what we have accomplished. Virginia was a notch better on almost every court. They raised their level on big points and we didn't - and that was the big difference. Virginia and Miami are two very even teams, but the team that plays better on that day will win the match. I think Virginia played doubles better than we've seen before. We didn't play that badly, but on key points Virginia just raised their level."
Virginia head coach Brian Boland
Opening Statement: "I thought Miami played a great match. I was very pleased with the way our team came out in doubles. I thought that gave us momentum. When we got into singles, I thought we took advantage of the doubles point. We had to really struggle with that at times this year, so I was really pleased with how we kept the momentum going. This was the third time we've played Miami this year and it was everything we expected. Overall, I thought we played very well. I thought the key moment was at the end of the first sets when were able to clinch a few of the first sets that were really tight. I thought that really gave us the edge to finish the match."
