Newport Beach, Calif. - Stanford had a strong performance at the Newport Autumn Rowing Festival on Sunday as the squad's lightweight varsity eight finished fourth overall out of 24 entries and was the fastest lightweight entry in the race. The team's novice eight entry was seventh.
"It was a good day for both crews," said head coach Al Acosta.
