Stanford, Calif. - Friday's scheduled opener of a three-game Pac-10 series at Sunken Diamond between Stanford (12-9, 1-2 Pac-10) and USC (15-12, 2-1 Pac-10) has been postponed due to weather conditions. The teams are now scheduled to open the series with a doubleheader on Saturday, April 1 (1 pm, PT). The final game of the series is still slated for Sunday (1 pm, PT).
The first 1,000 fans in attendance Saturday will receive a replica Mark Marquess "9" ballcap as part of the season-long "The Stanford 9" promotion.
The postponement marks the fifth time this season Stanford's schedule has been altered due to weather conditions.
