The Tyson Invitational wrapped up its final day of competition this afternoon. A shorthanded Cardinal team put forth another strong effort in this early season competition.
Senior Ashley Freeman turned in a strong performance in the 800-meters as she recorded a team best time of 2:10.43 to claim seventh place.
Freshman Richard Sherman competed in the triple jump for the first time this year, as he posted the teams second best mark of the season with 14.96m.
The team returns to action on Friday, February 23 with some of the team heading to Seattle, WA for the MPSF Championships, while the rest of the team will be in Boston, MA for the USATF Indoor Championships.
