Oklahoma City, Okla. - Shana Karp finished third in the platform competition Saturday on the third and final day of the 2007 NCAA Zone E Championships at the Oklahoma City Community College Pool. Karp's performance qualified her for a spot in the 2007 NCAA Championships along with teammate Cassidy Krug, who swept the 1-meter and 3-meter events on the first two days of the NCAA Zone E Championships on Thursday and Friday.
Karp scored 472.55 points to place third behind winner Tess Schofield of UCLA (524.45) and second place Kimberly Popp of USC (513.85).
Katie Lampe (5th, 428.70) also dove for the Cardinal.
Krug and Karp join 16 Stanford swimmers that are qualified for the NCAA Championships to be held this Thursday-Saturday, March 8-10 in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
