Stanford extended its season-long win streak to seven games, which is the club's longest since the team also won seven in a row from May 7-16, 2006 (the last time Stanford has won more than seven in a row overall was when the 2004 club won eight straight from March 23 - April 3, 2004)

Stanford stayed unbeaten at home in 2007 with an 8-0 record at Sunken Diamond with its current eight-game home win streak the team's longest since also rolling off eight straight at Sunken Diamond in the first eight home games of the 2005 campaign from January 29 - February 26, 2005 (the last time Stanford has won more than eight in a row at Sunken Diamond is when the 2004 club won 12 straight home contests from April 10 - May 18, 2004)
