Stanford had a season-high six-game win streak snapped as well as a season-high-tying four-game road win streak.
Despite Sunday's loss Stanford extended its three-game regular season series win streak to 11 by taking two-of-three from the Bruins. The streak is Stanford's longest regular season three-game series win streak since taking 15 straight series from May 3, 2003 - May 4, 2004.
Stanford lost for the first time on a weekend in 2008 but is still 13-1 on Saturdays (8-0) and Sundays (5-1).
