Barte Collects Singles, Doubles Titles At NCTC Classic

INDIAN WELLS, Calif.- Junior Hilary Barte captured singles and doubles crowns at the NCTC Classic over the weekend, as the Stanford women's tennis squad kicked off its spring season.

While other team members were competing at the Freeman Memorial Championships in Las Vegas, Nev., Barte and senior Lindsay Burdette, junior Jennifer Yen and sophomore Logan Hansen participated in the NCTC Classic.

Barte defeated USC's Maria Sanchez 7-5, 6-2 to claim the singles title, then teamed with Burdette to defeat UCLA's Andrea Remynse and Yasmin Schnack 8-6 for the doubles championship.
