STANFORD, Calif. (AP) -Eric Boateng scored a career-high 24 points and Derek Glasser had 20, lifting Arizona State to a 68-60 victory over Stanford on Thursday night.

The Sun Devils (20-8, 10-5 Pac-10) remained alone in second place in the Pac-10, one-half game behind first-place California, which defeated Arizona 95-71 on Thursday night. The Sun Devils and Bears play Saturday at Berkeley, Calif.

ASU has now posted three straight seasons with at least 20 victories under coach Herb Sendek.

Ty Abbott scored 10 points - all in the second half - for the Sun Devils, who won their fourth straight game. Boateng went 11 for 11 from the field, all of his shots coming from close range.

NOTES: Stanford (13-15, 7-9 Pac-10) can still reach the .500 mark overall and in league play by winning its final two games of the regular season ... Landry Fields became just the fifth player in school history to reach the 600-point plateau in a single-season when he knocked down his first free throw attempt of the contest two minutes into the game. Fields finished with 19 points and has now scored 618 points this year, representing the seventh-best all-time season total ... Fields has also now scored in double-figures in 29 straight games dating back to last year. That's the longest stretch since Casey Jacobsen reached double-figures in 32 consecutive games, bridging the 2000-01 and 2001-02 seasons ... Jeremy Green achieved a milestone in perhaps the worst shooting night of his career. Green was 2-14 from the field, with his only buckets coming from long range. His second triple with five seconds left before halftime gave him 85 for the season, breaking Casey Jacobsen's single-season record of 84 first set during the 2000-01 campaign ... Drew Shiller added a season-high 16 points, 13 of which came in the first half and 12 coming from beyond the arc. In his last three games, Shiller is 8-17 overall and 7-14 from three-point territory during the first half ... The teams combined for 15 three pointers ... Stanford held its biggest lead of the game at 23-12 with 9:47 left to play in the first half ... Stanford is now 40-9 in its last 49 home games dating back to the start of the 2007-08 campaign.
