PROVIDENCE, R.I.- Katherine Swank scored two goals off the bench, pacing No. 20 Stanford to a 3-1 victory over Rutgers on Sunday afternoon in the team's second neutral site contest in three days.

Entering the game as a reserve, Swank needed only two shot attempts to net her goals, both of which came in the second half.

Stanford (9-4, 3-1 NorPac) bounced back from a 2-1 overtime loss to No. 8 Syracuse on Friday, and now concludes its three-game road trip tomorrow at Northeastern.

Rutgers fell to 6-10.

The Cardinal held an 11-7 edge in shot attempts and a 5-2 advantage in penalty corners. Becky Dru fired off a team-high three shots and provided an assist on Swank's second goal.

Katie Mitchell's third goal of the year put Stanford ahead 1-0 in the 12th minute, with Elise Ogle adding the assist following a deflection near the cage.

Swank tallied her first goal of the game at the 44:20 mark, scoring unassisted to put Stanford in front 2-0.

Kat Rodziewicz brought Rutgers within 2-1 when she found the cage in the 60th minute, scoring off an assist from Jenna Bull.

One minute later, Swank provided Stanford with an insurance goal to ice the win.

Alessandra Moss made six saves in goal, improving her record to 8-4.
