STANFORD, Calif.- Alex Clayton reached the semifinals of the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Northwest Regional Championships, highlighting play for Stanford on Monday afternoon.
Clayton will face Sacramento State's Kiryl Harbatsiuk on Tuesday at 11:30 a.m.
Ryan Thacher was also bidding for a spot in the semis, but fell to California's Carlos Cueto 7-6 (4), 7-6 (6).
Tuesday's singles final is set for approximately 2 p.m.
The top-seeded Cardinal duo of Bradley Klahn and Thacher were upset 8-6 by California's Nick Andrews and Chris Konigsfeldt.
Tuesday's doubles championship match will be played at 10 a.m.
