ANAHEIM, CAlif. (AP) - Jordan Clarkson scored a career-high 20 points and Justin Hurtt had 19 points to lead Tulsa to a 65-53 victory over Stanford in the 76 Classic on Friday night.
Steven Idlet added 10 points and a season-high 10 rebounds for the Golden Hurricane (3-2), which forced Stanford to commit 18 turnovers and shoot a season-low 37 percent.
Jeremy Green had 20 points and six rebounds for the Cardinal (3-2), which lost two consecutive games after winning their first three. Josh Owens added 10 points.
Tulsa led by 17 points with 16:11 to play before Stanford narrowed the deficit to 52-45 with 3:26 left. But Hurtt scored four points during a 6-0 spurt that gave the Golden Hurricane a 58-45 lead with 2:09 remaining.

NOTES: After shooting just 25.9 percent (7-27) in the first half, Stanford connected on 48.1 percent (13-27) over the final 20 minutes ... Since Jeremy Green became a full-time starter at the beginning of the 2009-10 campaign, he has been held to less than 10 points in just seven games. Green has typically responded strongly in the very next game, with his average production as follows: 17.7 points per game, 46.2 percent from the field, 44.4 percent from three-point territory ... Josh Owens has scored in double-figures in back-to-back games for the first time since a six-game stretch at the start of the 2008-09 campaign ... After pouring in a career-high 16 points against Murray State last night, Dwight Powell was held to just two points on a pair of free throws and did not attempt a field goal in 26 minutes.
