CORVALLIS, Ore.- Landry Fields scored 12 of his 16 points in the second half, as Stanford defeated Oregon State 65-55 on Saturday.

Fields added 11 rebounds for his Pac-10-leading 11th double-double of the year, while dishing out six assists and tallying three blocks for the Cardinal (13-14, 7-8 Pac-10), which won a second straight road game after losing its first 10 of the season.

Jeremy Green added 15 points, all coming off three-pointers. Jack Trotter chipped in with 11 points.

Calvin Haynes had 21 points and six rebounds for Oregon State (12-14, 6-8).

Stanford, which trailed 30-28 at halftime, shot 52 percent in the second half, including makes on 5-7 shots from 3-point range. The Cardinal held a 32-29 rebounding edge and limited Oregon State to 40.7 percent shooting.

The tight contest featured nine ties and 14 lead changes.

After a three-pointer from Lathen Wallace brought the Beavers within 50-48 at the 8:32 mark of the second half, Stanford closed out the game on a 15-7 scoring run.

NOTES: Stanford, which won 72-65 at Oregon on Thursday, swept a Pac-10 road trip for the first time since winning at both Washington schools in 2008 ... The Cardinal has won back-to-back games for the fifth time this year, and will look for its first three-game winning streak of the year on Thursday night at home against Arizona State ... Jeremy Green now has 83 triples on the year, and stands two shy of breaking Casey Jacobsen's single-season school record of 84 treys established during the 2000-01 campaign ... The halftime margin has been six points or less in 17 of Stanford's 27 games this year ...
