REDWOOD CITY, Calif.-- Stanford Sailing was the only undefeated team at the team Pacific Coast Collegiate Sailing Conference Championships, going a perfect 9-0 after day one.

The Cardinal went a perfect 7-0 in the first round and opened up round two by beating UCLA and UC Santa Barbara on a blustery SSW shifty and breezy day that ranged from 5 to 18 knots.

USC is 7-2 after nine races, USC and the Gauchos have six wins. USC and UCSB had the second most wins after round one with five a piece in a race which garnered three boats from each school racing for the lowest score amongst each trio.

The plan for Sunday is to finish off the second round prior to a final four series on Sunday. Winds are expected between 20 and 30 knotts.
