LONG BEACH, Calif.-- Stanford Sailing won its third conference title in as many weeks, as the Cardinal won the women's trophy at the Pacific Coast Collegiate Sailing Conference Championships on Sunday.
After day one of sailing, the Cardinal led the nine-team field by a single point and came away with a four-point victory (101) after day two, ahead of USC (105) and nine points in front of Hawaii (110).
The Cardinal women combined for nine wins amongst the 36 combined races, scoring the second lowest score in each division.
The team of Eliza Richartz and Rebecca King combined for 49 points in the “A” division, behind Hawaii's 44 points, as the duo combined to win five races and finish second or third another eight times over the 18 races.
Hannah Burroughs and Megan Grove scored 52 points, behind USC's 41 points, with four wins and 12 top-three marks.
Stanford previously won the team title and the dinghy coed title at the PCCSCs over the previous two weeks.
The Cardinal close out the season over the next five weeks, racing at the National Dinghy Semifinals (May 1-2), Women's Nationals (May 25-28), Team Nationals (May 29-31) and Dinghy Nationals (June 1-3).
