Stanford head coach Johnny Dawkins:
On the game:
"I thought they just outplayed us tonight. You can go down the line and they played with a lot of energy and executed very well. They played very well tonight. This is a very different team that we played in January. Some of the young kids, the young man (Allen) Crabbe, is playing at a higher level now. Harper Kamp is playing very well now. You can see the progress they made, and it showed tonight."
On Cal's man defense:
"They have been playing a little more man recently. They played man versus UCLA so we were prepared for both."
On preparing for the Pac-10 Tournament:
"For us, it was more important to keep coming out and playing well, to keep developing. We didn't play the way I would have liked this team to play. We have to find out who we are playing against and from there we will start game planning for that team. The tournament is one and done. Whoever we are facing is the most important team."

California head coach Mike Montgomery
On defending Stanford:
"They have a good lineup, (Anthony) Brown can shoot and obviously (Jeremy) Green can shoot, by in large they did a good job. I thought Jorge (Gutierrez) did a terrific job on Green. More than anything what happens is you wear people down and they lose some confidence in going to a particular guy. Our guys have been pretty persistent on defense. They took some charges, which we haven't been good about."
