Colorado Springs, Colo. - Stanford competed in the NCAA regionals over the weekend with three men and three women earning automatic berths to the NCAA Championships. In addition, three more men will be wild card possibilities.
The Cardinal men were led by Jake Harbour who won the men's epee competition. He will be joined at the NCAA Championships by Turner Caldwell who was second in men's foil and Kevin Mo who was fourth in men's epee.
Also faring well and earning wild card possibilities are Max Murphy who was third in saber, Lucas Jansen who was fifth in saber and Alex Khoshnevissan who was fourth in foil.
For the women, Meaghan Conway won the regional title in the foil to earn her trip to the NCAA Championships. Also with a regional title was Francesca Bassa in the epee and she will also head to the NCAA's. The final NCAA participant will be Ashley Titan who was second in the epee.
The Cardinal will now complete its season at the NCAA Championships In Columbus, Ohio, from March 24-27.
