Florida head coach Roland Thornqvist
"I just told our team it's been a long time since we've been tested like that -probably since the finals of the National Team Indoors against Stanford."

"I am really proud of our team. We beat what I consider to be the best doubles team in the country today at No. 1 to win the doubles point and that was with a freshman and sophomore."

"I thought we won today with our legs and our heads, maybe more so than our strokes. I am glad we are through and glad that we were tested. Once we started splitting sets I thought it was advantage Gators because we are a very fit team."

Clemson head coach Nancy Harris
"We knew that they would be very tough if they got a lot of balls back. We knew that we could not give away points and had to make them earn the points. So I thought it would come down to the team that gave away the fewest points."

"I think we were without a doubt more aggressive than them, but their defense was better than our defense and I think they gave away fewer points. I was really proud of our courage and fight. We really should have had the doubles point and that would have helped us a lot with the momentum."
