STANFORD, Calif.- Bradley Klahn and Ryan Thacher continue to roll through the draw at the 2011 NCAA Tennis Championships and are set to compete in Saturday's quarterfinal round.
Klahn won his third singles match of the tourney, notching a 6-3, 3-6, 6-4 win over North Carolina's Jose Hernandez in Friday's round of 16. Tested for really the first time in three days, Klahn won in three sets and will face Tennessee's Rhyne Williams on Saturday at 12 p.m.
In doubles, Klahn and Thacher downed Tulsa's Clifford Marsland and Ashley Watling 7-5, 6-1 on Friday. The third-ranked Cardinal duo now faces Florida State's Vahid Mirzadeh and Connor Smith at 4 p.m. on Saturday.
