STANFORD, Calif.- Four Stanford players won second-round matches on Friday afternoon, opening play at the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Northwest Regional Championships at Taube Family Tennis Stadium.
Mallory Burdette, Nicole Gibbs, Stacey Tan and Ellen Tsay all advanced.
The singles finalists and doubles champion from each regional earn berths to the ITA National Intercollegiate Indoor Championships, slated for Nov. 3-6 in Flushing Meadows, N.Y.
In doubles, Tan and Tsay will partner together to represent Stanford.
