STANFORD, Calif. - Stanford synchronized swimming (3-0) won three out of four routines, topping Lindenwood University on Saturday afternoon at the Avery Aquatics Center.
Madison Crocker was a winner in two routines, taking the solo title with a tally of 83.500, and also teaming with Jessica Guenther for first place in the duet with a score of 85.167. Crocker, Anna Boyle and Leigh Haldeman were also second in the trio routine.
Leading the trio competition, Alex Bollaidlaw, Liane Lovitt and Koko Urata scored a best of 85.000 points, edging Crocker, Boyle and Halderman's tally of 81.500. Lindenwood was third with 80.167 points.
Following the winning duet of Crocker and Guenther, Lindenwood was second with 84.167 points, followed by the Stanford duos of Bollaidlaw and Urata (83.500) and Boyle and Haldeman (81.333). Lindenwood closed out the five team-field with 79.667 points.
The only loss for the Cardinal was in the team competition where Lindenwood scored the victory with 85.833 points, edging Stanford's 83.500 points.
Stanford is next in action on February 25 when it hosts Arizona at the Avery Aquatic Center at 2 p.m. The Wildcats also close out the regular season with its own hosted meet with the Cardinal on March 3 in Tucson, Ariz.
