Stanford Women Place 15th at NCAA Championships

COLUMBUS, Ohio - Stanford's women's fencing team ended the second of four days of competition at the NCAA Championships, taking 15 at the NCAA finals. Ohio State and Princeton tied for first with 88 points, while the Cardinal scored 12.

Julia Klepner is 23rd in sabre after posting three victories, up from one in the prelims.

Lily McElwee is 20th in foil with six victories, a team best for the Cardinal.

Ashley Titan and Rebecca Chung are 23rdd and 24th in epee. Titan won a three of her bouts.

Competition begins at 9:30 Central tomorrow.
