No. 11 Women's Tennis Tops No. 28 Washington 6-1

STANFORD, Calif.- No. 11 Stanford defeated No. 28 Washington 6-1 on Sunday afternoon in Seattle.

After sweeping all three courts to win the doubles point, Stanford (8-0, 2-0 Pac-12) went up 2-0 following a win by Mallory Burdette at the No. 2 spot.

Leading 2-1, the Cardinal clinched the match after victories by Veronica Li (7-5, 6-2) and Stacey Tan (5-7, 6-2, 6-2).

Stanford is back in action on Friday, March 9, at Utah.
