NORMAN, Okla. - Eddie Penev ended his season on a high note, two actually as the junior from Rochester N.Y. was crowned national champion in both floor exercise and vault. Penev's 16.100 on vault bested runner-up Jake Dalton of Oklahoma by .150 and he shared the national title on vault with Illinois' Paul Ruggeri after posting a 15.500.
The Cardinal boasted a total of nine All-American awards this season. Sean Senters and Cameron Foreman joined Penev as two-time All-Americans with Paul Hichwa, John Martin and James Fosco also garnering honors.
Penev won the second and third individual national championships of his Stanford career. The five-time All-American won the national title on vault as a freshman in 2010 and previously won All-American honors in floor exercise that year and in 2011.
Foreman took home his second and third All-American honors on parallel and high bars. He finished third at the 2011 national championships on parallel bars.
Senters took home the first two All-American honors of his career on floor exercise and vault after redshirting last season. The freshman from Center Valley, Pa. has been one of Stanford's most consistent performers throughout the season.
Martin took home his second All-American honor on pommel horse after placing sixth as a freshman in 2010.
Hichwa and Fosco received the first All-American honors of their careers.
