CHAPEL HILL, N.C.- No. 11 Stanford blanked Radford 2-0 on Saturday afternoon in a neutral site contest following a 13-day layoff.
The Cardinal (6-3, 0-0 NorPac) extended its winning streak to five games as Dulcie Davies notched her third shutout of the year.
Lauren Becker and Jessica Chisholm found the cage for Stanford, which next faces No. 1 North Carolina (8-1, 2-0 ACC) tomorrow at 10 a.m. PT. The six-time NCAA champion Tar Heels have occupied the top spot of the national poll for the last three weeks.
Burke scored in the 18th minute following an assist from Hope Burke, while Chisholm added insurance in the 60th minute thanks to an assist from Alex McCawley.
The Cardinal owned a 23-5 edge in shots, with McCawley's six attempts leading all players. Becker, Colleen Ryan and Becky Dru added three shots apiece.
Stanford held a 6-4 advantage in penalty corners.
Stanford was back in action for the first time since defeating No. 18 Drexel 2-1 back on Sept. 9.
