STANFORD, Calif.- Stanford concluded its first competition of the fall season on Sunday afternoon, closing out play at the 12th annual Audi Napa Valley Tennis Classic at the Meadowood Napa Valley Resort in St. Helena, Calif.
Each school was represented by four players to compete alongside eight juniors from the USTA National Elite Division, and the 32-player field was split into eight pools featuring three collegians and a junior. Following three matches in pool play, the eight pool winners competed in a single-elimination, 10-point tiebreak tournament.
Representing the Cardinal in singles were Daniel Ho, Matt Kandath, John Morrissey and Robert Stineman. Kandath and Morrissey paired up in doubles.
