FLUSHING, N.Y.- Freshman Krista Hardebeck dropped her second-round match on Friday at the USTA/ITA National Indoor Championships, falling to Florida's Sofie Oyen 6-3, 6-4.
On Thursday afternoon, Hardebeck defeated Alabama's Alexa Guarachi 6-4, 6-2 in the first round.
Meanwhile in doubles, the Cardinal's duo of Stacey Tan and Ellen Tsay dropped an 8-6 decision to Columbia's Bianca Sanon and Tiana Takenaga.
Tan and Tsay fell 8-4 to USC's Kaitlyn Christian and Sabrina Santamaria on Thursday following a first-round bye.
