No. 8 Stanford Rolls Over No. 20 Arizona State, 125-110

TEMPE, Ariz. - The eighth-ranked Stanford women's swimming and diving team won Friday's Pac-12 Conference dual meet against No. 20 Arizona State at the Mona Plummer Aquatic Center, 125-110. Stanford will now regroup and travel to No. 6 Arizona for an 11 a.m. (PT) battle Saturday in Tucson.

"Today was a nice team win and a great way to get the ball rolling for the next eight weeks," Stanford head coach Greg Meehan said. "Katie Olsen and Allison Brown really stood out today. As good as we were against Arizona State, we know we have to get better as we head to Tucson tomorrow."

Brown (1:50.65) finished strong in the 200 free with Felicia Lee (1:47.21) claiming the win in the event with an NCAA B-cut. Brown also went 4:50.33 in the 500 free, the second-fastest time on the day.

Olsen (23.65) was second behind Andi Murez (23.14) to go 1-2 in the 50 free and logged an NCAA B-cut with the day's fastest time in the 200 breast (2:13.93).

Olsen and the Cardinal's 400 medley relay team started the meet with a win in 3:37.85.

Andie Taylor (9:52.19) was second in the 1,000 free to lead a slew of Cardinal in the event.

Sarah Haase, who was second in 2:02.62.

Kristie Chen (2:01.36) won the 200 fly and Julia Ama (51.06) claimed second in the 100 free.

Maya DiRado (1:56.28) and Lee (1:57.50) both registered an NCAA B-cut in the 200 back while finishing 1-2 in the race.

Murez, Julia Anderson, Allison Arnold and Maddy Schaefer teamed to finish first in the 400 free relay.

Stephanie Phipps (300.83) was second off the 1-meter board and third in the 3-meter event (302.40).
